Good morning, everyone!

                         In the last week, I got a ton of pin feathers. They itch a lot! They look like they will lose their shell and become normal feathers soon, though.

Look closely, and you'll see I have a large pin feather
below my blue cheek spot. I have a ton more on the
top of my head, though!

             
                     

                       I find Junior taking on much of my behavior. He is learning how to talk in the way I do. I heard him whistle a few minutes ago, just like I do. He always talks to a small mirror, kind of like how I talk to my bell. And, he is getting better at flying, but he still needs to learn he must get out of the cage before he can fly around the room. He just flies back and forth between the cage walls, and rarely makes his way out of the cage. He talks to me more, too. We have conversations on everything.

My Electronics

I LOVE phones and tablets. Gimme one and I'll be occupied for hours. And, when you play recording of me talking, I drop everything I'm doing and fly to the device. I looked into the camera of a tablet, and this is what happened: Man, I have a big head!

Nighttime

Junior and I are Sleepyheads. We get tired around 8:00. It's funny though, because we fall asleep for the night around 11:00 PM, and we take up around 6:00 AM. We're morning birds. With the exception of a late bedtime. I usually sit near the bell but closer to the couch. We take turns eating at the food bowl when it's time to eat, but I don't talk to him too much. He'll talk to me, but I don't talk to him. He's extremely jealous of me, and will get into a fight with me.

New arrival!

Guess what! I met another budgie today! My humans call him Junior. He's very jealous of me, though. We get into fights a lot.

Time to rest with my bell! My humans always say I get cranky around this time, but I'm just protecting my bell.

Today

Good afternoon!

I played video games with one of my humans today. Today was a pretty good day. I even got hand fed one seed at a time! I guess I'm very lucky.

 My cage is huge for one little parakeet. I could fly around in it.

I'm Sneaky!

I love knocking this toy down and making it crooked. Why did my humans place it right next to my favorite spot if they knew I would knock it down?
